GrantWorks Productions began in 1994, sitting in a beautiful theatre with 20 fellow writers, producers and directors at my theatre, Serendipity Playhouse in Tucson, AZ. Pegasus Productions was born, which begat GrantWorks Productions and the rest, as they say....

The goal always remains the same: to focus on telling great stories, sharing ideas, celebrating the arts and talent. And here we are...

ACT I

Theatre is where it all began at the ripe ole age of 4. My mom, who was an amazing dancer and a born performer, took me to see the play Godspell. During the curtain call, I began to cry. My mom leaned down and asked "What's the matter Magpie?" Through my tears, I told her "I want to be up there, with them, I want to be up there!" Say no more, my acting, dancing, singing, modeling, directing, producing, writing career was born!

ACT II

It has been a long and exciting road. Yes, there are bumps along the way, but the soaring downhill with my feet off the pedals, far outweighs the uphills. Along this journey, I have also embraced the world of audition coaching, helping others find their path in the performing arts, while striving for film awards that celebrate creativity and talent.
